- The Ice Station is a very popular skating rink located at GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World. Featuring daily events, special occasions, ice shows, figure skating and ice hockey championships. There are also many educational opportunities and prices are cut in half during school holidays.
- The rink changed hands in 1986 and the Cape Peninsula Ice Skating Club was formed, under the management of an elected committee. The property was sold in 1994 and the rink, renamed as The Ice Station was included in the GrandWest Casino & Entertainment World Development.
