The serene beauty of Japan has been re-created at Koko, one of Melbourne's premier Japanese restaurants located at Crown Casino, Southbank. Experience the mystique and tranquility of the water garden that takes pride of place in the stunning interior by internationally renowned designer Tony Chi. Koko features authentic teppanyaki and a la carte menus and is renown for the quality of its sushi. Koko Restaurant, Crown Casino Client. Strip lighting is featured in Koko's feature ceiling. The installation provides CCT dimming, which simulates the behaviour of an incandescent light source by becoming warmer as it dims. Level 3 Crown Towers. To cap off, I think Koko is a spectacular place to have a nice, long lunch with good friends and family. The setting is absolutely gorgeous with the ultra high ceilings, full height windows overlooking the Yarra River and a serene pond in the middle of the entire restaurant to tie it all together. The food, again, was perfect. One of my Favorite Restaurant is @koko Crown Melbourne.

Food
Our beef is sourced directly from the producers and dry aged on our premises. The dry ageing process is important as it brings a better flavour to the beef than that of the more common wet aging in cryovac, which in essence is really preserving the beef. This however takes a big commitment as we have many tonnes of beef ageing at any one time. We believe that the three types of beef we have are representative of the best of their type in Australia. Blackmore’s Wagyu, Cape Grim and Minderoo all fit into the strict Rockpool philosophy of humane treatment to the cattle. There are no growth hormones used and no antibiotic feed supplements. This is a rare thing in Australia today, particularly with the standard lot fed cattle.

The wine list at Rockpool Bar & Grill Melbourne showcases a selection from a mix of vineyards. Some are small, unknown producers whom we feel lucky to have come across whilst others are bigger with bold reputations and wines that are highly prized all over the world. What we search for in creating this offering are wines that reflect the people who make them and the land they are raised from.
